Long-term Live-in Care
Long-Term Live-In Care could be the perfect solution.
For many older people the prospect of moving out of their own home, away from their treasured possessions and familiar surroundings and into a residential care home can be very upsetting. Being moved out of the place they’ve always thought of as home can cause considerable stress and anxiety.
At Able Community Care we help people to stay and continue living in their own homes by providing a fully supported Long-term Live-in Care service. Able live-in carers help with all the day-to-day things that are part of living independently in your own home, such as:
- Helping to carry out day-to-day domestic tasks.
- Providing assistance with personal care.
- Provide companionship in and out of the house so life continues as normal.
- Take
away the risks and challenges often associated with living on your own.
24/7 service
To ensure that we can look after someone 365 days a year at home, for as long as they wish, we will provide a fortnightly rota system of their preferred live-in carers so they will always know who will be looking after them.
At Able Community Care we understand that every person we care for is an individual and is used to their own way of life, their own way of doing things.
We aim to tailor our service to meet their requirements, this includes easy contact and communication through a named care manager, with the reassurance of a professional 24 hour on-call service, staffed by our own care managers.

Our Live-in Care packages are available throughout England, Scotland, Wales and the Channel Islands.
All our live-in carers have at least one year’s professional care experience and have under gone enhanced police checks, which are updated every three years. Many of our carers have been with Able Community Care in excess of 10 years.
