Live-In Care Sussex Services.

Able Community Care has been providing Live-In Care in Sussex, both east and West for over 40 years. The company was founded in 1980 and, over the next three decades, expanded to provide Live-in Care Schemes throughout the UK and beyond.

Sussex is in two Parts with East and West with the larger towns of Brighton, Worthing also Littlehampton in East Sussex. The Cathedral city of Chichester is in West Sussex also located are the coastal towns of Hastings, Bexhill, Eastbourne and Bognor Regis which are popular holiday destinations. Away from the coast is located Crawley, Horsham and Hayward Heath.

Able Carers can provide the home care you need, including cooking where necessary. They can shop for you and, take care of household tasks, and assist with personal care and medication if needed. Also, they can drive you out and about accompanying you to doctors appointments, seeing friends and to any other social events you may attend. If you have any pets, Able Carers will take care of those loved household animals.
Able Carers are there for and with you as a companion to support as you need, not take over.

An example of our Live-in Care

One of our current West Sussex clients is a lady who was born in 1926 and in 2012 suffered a stroke. This was swiftly followed by a series of further strokes, which impaired her mobility and her ability to care both for herself and her home.

Living in a lovely home in a seaside village Katherine did not want to leave her home of many years and with the support of family and friends, decided to try a Live-in Care Scheme from Able Community Care.

Katherine's Care Manager began to introduce Live-in Carers into Katherine's home in 2012. Two of these 2012 Carers, Katherine wished to return to her, and since that time, they have been caring for Katherine on a rotational basis.

Both these Carers and all Carers who are introduced into our client’s homes have been recruited by us, and interviewed by our recruitment manager one to one or via zoom. We reference check and verify all the required documentation and certification in place. In addition, they are required to update their training on a regular basis. Every one of our Live-in Carers must have a minimum of 12 months of provable care experience before their application is even considered for processing. All carers are DBS Checked

If there is a problem, Katherine, her family and her care workers can talk to someone at Able Community Care twenty-four hours a day including all Bank Holiday periods.

Additional Live Care Sussex Services.

In addition to providing our Live-in Care Sussex services around both Counties, we are also able to provide Home from Hospital Care, Respite Care and accompany people from East or West Sussex who need care on holidays of their choice via our Holiday Care Companion Service.
