Able Community Care has been providing Live-in Care in Lincolnshire since the 1980s. Our service has enabled older and disabled people to live in their home of choice, their own.

   We provide care in cottages, flats, farmhouses, bungalows, terraced houses, detached and semi-detached houses and annexes all of which are a client’s cherished home.

Louth, Lincoln, Stamford, Boston, Spalding and Sleaford are just a few of the towns where we have introduced live-in carers to our clients one of whom is Joan.

Joan heard about Able Community Care in 2006 and today, in her 90’s stills lives in the bungalow she never wanted to leave.

Joan is supported by her Care Manager Kate, and a rotational system of Live-in Carers she has chosen.

Lincolnshire being a rural, farming County has an abundance of fresh food available to purchase, and one of our Live-in Carers roles is to prepare and cook fresh food for the person they are supporting.

Lincolnshire is famous for it’s Lincolnshire Poacher Cheese and I am sure many of our clients have this, with the Lincolnshire Plum Loaf on the shopping list for our carers to purchase.

Providing social care is part of our care support and should our clients want a day out the opportunity is available. Lincolnshire has a lovely coastline with seaside towns to visit, shopping opportunities, many garden centres and tea rooms; the National Trust has interesting, beautiful houses and gardens all within travelling distance for a day out.

In addition to providing our Live-in Care services around the County, we are also able to provide Home from Hospital Care, and Respite care, also Holiday Care accompany Lincolnshire people who need care on holidays of their choice.
