Able Community Care has launched a four-week trial period of Live-in Care.

Able Community Care has launched a four-week trial period of Live-in Care.

For a Frail Elderly Person, There May Be Only Two Choices.

All of us would like to remain as independent as possible. It makes our quality of life better and more enjoyable and keeps us healthier. As we age, some care support may be needed, a few hours a day or over a 24/7 time period.

Then there are two main choices.

To move into a residential care setting or have live-in care support in your own home.

1. Moving into a residential care setting and selling your home means that a final decision has been taken as to how the rest of your life is planned.

2. Having a Live-in Care Scheme means you can enjoy the support in your home, in your familiar surroundings and within your community.

Taking the second option does enable an elderly person or their family to make a choice.

If Live-in Care does not suit, knowing that it was tried but not suitable means a move to a care home becomes the option of choice. To help people choose how they wish to be cared for, Able Community Care has launched a four-week trial period of Live-in Care. For four weeks, professional carers will offer domestic and personal care support plus companionship in your own home. There are no long-term contracts, but after a four-week trial, we will be happy to discuss this with you if you wish to continue the support.
